Marie: Budgie brooch with frame

Marie is a high fired ceramic brooch finished in underglazes. Marie, some say, has some fanciful ideas. She was born in 1755 and was her parents 15th child. She is obsessed with wigs, her couture dresses and her supposed reputation of bringing down the french monarchy. “You can’t just eat cake and talk about being beheaded all day” say her friends. But she just gathers her footmen and storms off muttering that they’ll all be sorry when she finds a guillotine on ebay.

Marie is a one of a kind ceramic brooch that has a single pin clasp on the back in a white plastic frame. All my pieces are hand made and imperfections are guaranteed.
