Unicorn Candy: Teapot Sculpture

This Unicorn sculpture is a high fired ceramic teapot finished in underglazes and gold lustre.

Covered in fairy floss pastel underglaze splashes, drips and an assortment of candy hearts with sayings such as fuck, am I the drama?, ew and love is love. There are gold lustre stars and horn.

If you have followed the creation of this teapot on my instagram, I was worried that it had a crack. But maybe through the magic of Unicorns, this teapot has no leaks. Which was  huge surprise.

It is a one of a kind ceramic sculpture that has deliberate painterly brush strokes and a whimsical illustrative quality. Please handwash to help prolong the life of of your sculpture.

Avoid pouring boiling water into the teapot if it’s cold, it helps to avoid cracking if you warm the pot with some warm water first.
