New Lamp-Making Workshop Coming Soon!

Last year, I had the amazing opportunity to film a lamp-making workshop for The Ceramic School, and I’m so excited to finally share it with you! This workshop will be available next month, and it’s packed with techniques that I know you’ll find really useful.

In this class, I’ll guide you through the process of creating your own whimsical and fun character lamp using a variety of hand-building techniques. We’ll start by building a simple body and head as the structure, then move on to adding facial features, hair, clothes, and decorative elements like flowers and leaves. I’ll also show you how to create a housing for your lamp fitting and how to glue it in after glazing and firing.

By the end of this workshop, you’ll have the skills to make a unique ceramic lamp, plus tons of ideas to explore beyond the class. If you missed my last post, I also shared links to lamp sets you can use to complete your piece!
