Budgie and Banksia: Teapot Sculpture

Budgie and Banksia is a high fired ceramic teapot sculpture finished in underglazes. A pink and a green budgerigar sit atop this sculpture that is decorated with red banksias, butterflies, and leaves.

There are some small surface cracks where the budgies join the body of the teapot . There are more  photos on my instagram. The budgies are securely attached and unlikely to break. And the price has been discounted.

It is a one of a kind ceramic sculpture that has deliberate painterly brush strokes and a whimsical illustrative quality. Thank you for considering loving an item with flaws.
