Pair of Budgie Candlesticks/Sculptures

This pair of candlesticks are high fired ceramic sculptures finished in underglazes. The white, colour splattered  budgies are sitting on stylised flower forms, with sun and stars , and a cloud and rainbows above their heads.

These are one of a kind ceramic sculptures that have deliberate painterly brush strokes and a whimsical illustrative quality.

Due to the matte nature of my finishes wax may tend to stick.
