Be brave little one: Ceramic hot air balloon

Be brave little one is a high fired ceramic hot air balloon. The balloon is a stitched cat design, with two budgies , Orville and Amelia who are on an adventure. It is finished in underglazes and 22k gold lustre. There are binoculars, maps, a pile of books a shared suitcase and a compass in the wood grained basket.

This is a one of a kind sculpture that has deliberate painterly brush strokes and a whimsical illustrative quality.
